I was initially drawn to the book by its title as this is an interesting concept. The author, however, seems a bit biased - he's often a bit dismissive of the ethics and concerns and puts far too much faith in a free market regulating it. All germline modifications will do is increase the gap between the ich and the poor (Even the relatively more simple invitro fertilisation is out of reach of most. And that's not even taking into account the new reproductive laws popping up in America which would likely make this even more inaccessible to those without tremendous amounts of wealth!).

He raises some interesting ideas and thoughts about how (both on the cause and effect sides of things) humans could benefit but overall the book is just okay.

Great little book of though provoking questions. You'll either learn something knew about others or discover something about yourself.

really don't like most of these questions, but once in awhile a thought-provoker pops up...

It's rather cheesy but I use it o road trips where the cheesiness isn't too big of a problem.
