Mars, We Love You por Jane Hipolito
Includes non-fiction by P. Lowell and Schiaparelli, and an excerpts from [b:The War of the Worlds|8909|The War of the Worlds|H.G. Wells|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1320391644s/8909.jpg|3194841] and a John Carter story. Several pieces are original to this book, and they tended to be more interesting to me - mostly because they're newer and didn't presume Martians. Overall, not spectacular.

Mars, We Love You por Jane Hipolito
An old collection of even older SF stories set on or about Mars, lots of classics by the top SF authors between 1900 and 1980. Long out of print but worth tracking down, I found mine for a dollar at a second hand book store. I especially liked Omnilingual by H. Beam Piper.

The Dune Encyclopedia: The Complete, Authorized… por Frank Herbert
I'm old school. I prefer originals whenever I can get them. So this mini-encyclopedia of Dune biography, culture, history, battle order, and science appeal to me more than modern reconstructions and revisions of the Dune universe. The book will add a lot of background to your understanding of the original Dune novels. The one area where I do wish more attention had been given, is the languages of the Dune universe. What is included is interesting, but woefully deficient in the details I would like to have seen. Nonetheless, this is the best Dunclopeida I've ever seen. ;)… (más)
