Biografía breve
Ernö Dohnányi used a German form of his name, Ernst von Dohnányi, on most of his published compositions. He performed as a pianist in Europe and the USA until 1908, when he became professor of piano at the Berlin Hochschule. He was the conductor of the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra from 1919 to 1944. After World War II, he settled in the USA, teaching at Florida State University until his death. Hans von Dohnanyi (1902-1945), his son, became a heroic German lawyer, resistance activist against the Nazi regime, and rescuer of Jews from the Holocaust. Christoph von Dohnányi (born 1929), the son of Hans von Dohnanyi and his wife Christine Bonhoeffer, became a distinguished orchestra conductor.

I'm not a fan of finger exercises, and only did these because I had to, for my university piano lessons.
