I may be biased because I'm lucky enough that I got to hold a baby wombat a couple of months ago, but I still really like these books. I do think that the human mum (or dad) offscreen, so to speak, must be questioning why their baby always smells of wombats though! ( ) Meine Meinung Klare Lese- und Kaufempfehlung! Die kurzen Texte von Jackie French werden hervorragend mit den Bildern von Bruce Whatley ergänzt. Die Texte sind sehr kurz, so dass das Buch mehr von den farbigen Bildern lebt. Die Zeichnungen sind sehr liebevoll und lustig. Dieses Buch zählt definitiv zu den wenigen Büchern, die ich gern immer wieder zur Hand nehme und die mich immer wieder erneut zu lächeln bringen. The book describes the Wombats habitat and it's schedule of sleeping, eating, and exploring. The baby Wombat meets a infant and creates a bond with the child.
