Lily is a garden talent fairy who takes on the challenge to invent something new to benefit Pixie Hollow. Although her panglories start out vibrant and beautiful and can grow on any surface, they soon begin fading in color. What’s worse—their sickness appears to be spreading to the other plants. Lily, together with the other fairies, must figure out what went wrong with her panglories and how to return color to Pixie Hollow. The illustrations make use of radiant, rich colors for the flowers and fairy clothing. The fairies are dressed in “fairy fashion”, which actually appears to be brightly colored variations of hobo garb. While the story does not explain several things that adults may be wondering about, the excitement of reading a Disney brand story about a world in which magical fairies live may outweigh plot for most young readers. This story does not contain conflict between characters. Rather, there is one minor misunderstanding, which is resolved by the end. There are several messages that are inspirational and positive, namely that anyone can invent if they try and that we can solve problems by working together. This is a happy, although unrealistic, story that leaves the reader in a good mood and ready to take on a challenge. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
