A curious little kitten lives in a safe, cozy closet with her mother and siblings. But being curious, she wants to know about the light outside the door and how it got there. So one day when the others are sleeping, she goes out exploring.

This is a very cute book about curiosity and exploration. The little kitten is adorable in action and in illustrations. Kids will enjoy the repetition found in the book, such as the pit pat of the kitten's steps or her questioning what else is behind each door. The edition I have is the little Little Golden Books, so the miniature pages are a novelty as well. ( )

The curious kitten soon tires of her closet and has fun exploring the house... until a table cloth falls on her head! Luckily, Mom comes when she mews for help and carries her back to the closet. The curious little kitten stayed there... for a while. ( )
