It has great sun-drenched descriptions of exotic cruise locations, interesting characters and a developing relationship with the kind of emotional depth I love to read about. Above all it contains a strong message of hope and shows the power of new beginnings. The attraction between Gary and Scott is immediate and intense. The relaxed atmosphere of the cruise, the beaches and exotic locations they visit and the eternal sunshine of the Caribbean is a clear counterpoint to the tension of dealing with Scott's past as a prisoner, the victim's brother who keeps stalking him and the threat of the cruise ending and "real life" tearing Gary and Scott apart. This is a tale about love, how it helps people to overcome their pasts and how it makes them reach out for more than they thought they deserved. It talks about finding hope where you thought there was none and about fighting for what you want in life and making it happen. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

A Bottled Up Story Gary Keller is enjoying a cruise with new friends when he meets Scott Haworth, and unexpected attraction flares between them. But Scott has a past he's trying to leave behind; nine months earlier he was released from prison after almost a decade. The Innocence Project and DNA evidence exonerated of the crime, but the victim's brother still holds him responsible. Gary finds himself drawn to Scott for many reasons, not least of which is that the big, physically strong exterior hides a vulnerable, unsure man trying to restart his life. But it's only a seven-day cruise, and when it ends, they both have to go back to their lives in different parts of the country. Is a week long enough to build a relationship that will stand the strain of separation? Or will the cruise just fade to a happy vacation memory? No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

The settings in this one were gorgeous. I felt as if I was on the islands with the guys. It was also great to "see" familiar faces popping in from other Andrews Grey books... Gary seemed to undergo a quite remarkable character change from the beginning to the end of the book. And while I'm always expecting a bit of insta-love in these books, there seemed to be a slight case instant BFF's as well.
But even with all that, it was still a entertaining read with characters that touched me. Just what I expect from this author. ( )
