This book made me think so much of my grams yelling at us kids to stop slamming the screen door out the back. This sing song rhyme of a wonderful book is a problem on top of a problem all started by a slammed door. The illustrations are fun, and the memories will be forever. ( )

To most people, slamming a door ins`t a big deal. However, in this book it proves to be horrible. The cause and effect from slamming the door is unbelievable in this hilarious tale. I would read this when teaching about cause and effect. ( )

Summary: The daughter tells the dog not to wake up the cat! But the cat gets woke up and then goes crazy. He ties knots in the yarn, then the dad spills the bee thing and all the bees go everywhere and then the bear scares the cows and everything goes crazy after the cat wakes up. Then at the end the cat finally goes back to sleep.
I would recommend this book to whatever age wants to read it.It has some rhyming in it so it could be a good book if a child is just beginning to read, to learn how to rhythm.
