'Solitude of the Photo' has a twist that felt a little bit contrived (surely you'd correct someone who'd mistaken your sister for your wife?) but a vibrant, compelling read that I enjoyed.
'The Artist's Model' - unexpected historical, but the period reactions to same-sex desire are nicely handled, and the story summoned a very rich mood. ( )
