I still don't totally understand why Superman chooses to leave Earth at all. How many times since the beginning of the Superman character, and especially since the 80s has he said that Earth is his home, what makes him who he is. Heck, there was even an entire TV show that every episode the writers seemed to emphasize Earth is home. There was also a story at the end about Zod, Non, Ursa, and Jor-El that took place on the Old Krypton. I thought that story was the most interesting one of the TPB.
The art was okay, although some of the covers in the back of the TPB were wicked weird looking. ( )
