Bylo nebylo… tak by mohl začínat každý ze čtyř magických, romantických příběhů, které nás zavedou do časů dávno minulých, do království dávno zapomenutých a do míst, kde si skutečnost podává ruku s fantazií. Tato kniha vás polehoučku a tiše pozve také do světa, kde čarodějky míchají své lektvary, kde hradními zdmi procházejí duchové a udatní válečníci sedlají koně, aby se vydali zachraňovat dámy svých srdcí. Že je vám to všechno jaksi povědomé? Ale ovšem! Zveme vás přece do pohádky! Nebo si snad myslíte, že něco podobného se hodí jenom pro děti? Pak dovolte, abychom vás vyvedli z omylu. Všichni přece potřebujeme – a v dnešním uspěchaném, přetechnizovaném světě o to víc – onen vpravdě kouzelný dotek nefalšované romantiky a pravé lásky, která sahá až za hrob. (
