Fun flirty read with sweet moments. Bit dramatic and ridiculous at times but overall alright. I liked Mia for the most part. Adam was kind of an ass. Not really any character development or depth, about what you expect for instalove type stories. It wasn't bad but I probably won't continue with the series, just didn't grab me enough. 2.5 stars, rounded to 3. ( )

Wonderful

This is a compelling romance. Mia is auctioning off her virginity; she doesn't date, doesn't want a relationship, but she needs money. Adam wins the auction but seems reluctant to take his property. The reader will likely guess what is going on, but the story is so well-written and the protagonists so endearing that the way they get there keeps you enthralled. ( )

I'm honestly surprised at how much I liked this book. Even with the obvious "plot twists." It was a cute (however unrealistic) and sweet story and I'm sad that the others are over my book budget right now. ( )

Well, I actually wasn't sure what to think about this. I thought the premise interesting, but I was wary, since a romance that starts with selling of virginity... Well, maybe a bit too Pretty Woman... although, I do like that movie :) But the thing is: this could've been really interesting. But then why would someone who has been sexually abused by her previous boyfriend would ever think selling her virginity is a good idea? I think the main character should've been more ok with the whole thing. Then again, who would be the guy that would buy your virginity and who you would fall in love with... I was a bit disappointed that an interesting premise was made to such a stereotypical romance book. Well, I knew there was a big risk that that would happen, and I went and read anyway. Also, this whole insta-lust is as annoying as the insta-love in ya books. Well, maybe there could be insta-lust, but that it's everywhere all the time. I don't know, I might go back to the ya for awhile, I think I've got an overdose on the sexy times (who would've thought...?). ( )
