This books is divided into four sections: Sections one and two provide background information on reptiles and briefly discusses the variation within the 6,800+ species of reptiles. Section three is field guide portion. Section four, the reference section, tells readers where to find specific information in the book and good sources of extra information elsewhere. Specifically in section three, the format is consistent from page to page and illustrations include pictures, maps, and a margin of extra information (look-alikes, related species, and fun facts). The text of the book is clearly written and very interesting; it would be suitable to read-alouds or for individual reading. Younger students may have difficulty with some of the scientific names, but many enjoy the colorful pictures of the animals. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
