It gives descriptions of the insect and spiders anatomy along with life cycles. This book also gives the family name of the insect and spiders covered. It gives the habitats and foods each of the insects and spiders eat. I was impressed with the details and new information about most of the insects and spiders in this book. Like the mosquito’s way of obtaining its food from its source. Instead of one part, it is made up of six individual parts that comes together and forms a needle like mouth. This book would not be classified as a beginning reader’s book. This would be a great extension for science class including projects. I would have the students pick one of the insects or spiders and give a short summary of its life cycle, anatomy, or habitat. The students could use this book as a guide to help identify insects from around their homes to create an insect collection for a science project. I would tell the students to avoid the spiders and other poisonous insects. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
