It was a good book it reminded me a whole lot of my dog that I lost. When Kristine lost her horse and she didn't want to get close to another animal because of the fear of losing it I can relate to that a lot. But in the book they say losing an animal and the pain that comes with it is bond to happen sooner or later and their right you have to learn to let go and love something that needs love now not sob about the animal that you just lost.

The book is more for younger people but it has a strong meaning behind it that people can carry with them though life. Learn to let go and live in the present because people and animals are here only for a short time enjoy them while their here and when their gone remember the good not the bad. ( )

This story is about a girl, Kristine, who recently lost her horse, Dandy. After that loss, she was so torn that she promised not to get close to another pet. That plan was foiled when her parents surprised her with a cute little puppy for her birthday. Cute, heartwarming story. ( )
