One thing I liked about it was how each word related to karate was also shown to the reader in Japanese. For example, the karate teacher or instructor is called “sensei” in Japanese. This not only teaches the reader about karate but it also teaches the reader different words in Japanese. Another thing I liked about the book was the bolded words throughout the book and the glossary in the back. Throughout the book there was certain vocabulary words in bolded print and they were defined in the back of the book. For example, words like “block” and “stance” are bolded in the book and are defined in the glossary. The main theme of this book is to walk the reader through a karate class and to teach them about karate. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
