I liked this one considerably less than the first in the series, but I'm interested enough in this cast of characters to read the next book. I'm all for a battle of wits or sparring between soon to be lovers, but I'm not as crazy about constant power playing, especially in a scenario like this, where all the laws and power side with the man. Maybe the author was trying to toy with domination, but it seemed to me very 'I will bend you to my will and there's nothing in the world you can do about it', which at the very least also toys with 'controlling asshole'. Also for 85% of the book he's selfish, jealous and angry. =/ The heroine was just semi-compelling for me. Between the two it made the book seem twice as long as was enjoyable. ( ) I'm giving myself credit for this at 60%. He just took her virginity in a flowerbed against her wishes "because he couldn't help himself." I don't care if he wants to marry her. He knows she doesn't want to be married to him, was tricked into it, and now he's forcing the issue by taking his marital rights or some shit and making it impossible for her to get an annulment. I guess I'm supposed to like him but i reeeeeally don't. The first was good, the second awful, not going to continue the series. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
