Story of Down girl and Sit who are two dogs from the city that go on adventure with their owners. They encounters different things along the way and in the end decide that they actually enjoy having the fence (not like they did in the beginning). ( ) Down Girl and Sit join their masters on a trip to a dude ranch. It's a hilarious adventure for two city dogs, whose naivete and ignorance unwittingly get them into various scrapes, such as coming face-to-face with an angry bull and inadvertently starting a cow stampede. The adult book "A Dog's Purpose" was the other book I was listening to at the time when I read this, and they were nicely suitable complements! You can tell author Lucy Nolan is a true dog person! Down Girl and Sit don't like the fence. Their owners take them on a trip to the ranch where they meet Git Along who informs them of the dangers on the other side of the fence. Down Girl and Sit encounter barking squirrels (prairie dogs), experience a cow stampede, are chased by ugly dogs (coyotes) and get rescued by a gasoline powered bull (truck). At the end of their adventured they return home and look forward to the fence. I enjoyed this book. I loved how the author uses common commands as the names for the animals. Their adventures send a message that things are not always what they seem based on our own experiences. It's fine to have adventures and go beyond the fence; but, it's a better idea to find out more before diving into things. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
