Lola M. Schaefer is a teacher who loves writing and the creativeness that can be brought to stories. I love her books. This one is no exception. This biography is a great tool to help young readers understand biographies. For older children, it gives a great taste of the person they may want to investigate or research. The book does recommend other books to further one’s reading about Curie. The use of time lines is brilliant. It’s a great tool for students to see things in chronological order. This may help students with their own organizational skills, if they were to have a writing prompt which asked them to write their own biography. For a short book, it has so much to offer! ( )
