By the end of the book, his big claws are needed to help one of his friends get out of the seaweed, then he likes them. A story about finding what you're good at and learning self-esteem. Crab believes he is clumsy with his claws and that they get in the way of everything he does including playing hide and seek, toss the bubble and tag. HIs friends though allow him to be the seeker in hide and seek and clumsy Crab learns that his claws are more than just clumsy and that he is able to save the day when Octopus gets stuck in the seaweed. A cute story with fun illustrations that would be good for young readers to talk about the differences in everyone that still makes them unique and special and about how friends should accept each other for who they are.
