Emily Grainger ("Danger Girl") uses ingenuity, daring, and knowledge of a company's accounting computer system to save Jagger Holtz ("Super Spy"). Emily is really just a normal woman who decides she's happy not having an exciting life. Jagger is a spy who was captured (after a single night with Emily, which resulted in a baby), tortured, and hidden for 2 years. Together they bring down a German (ex-Stasi) mob run shipping company, that has specialized in "disappearing" prisoners in shipping containers on cargo vessels in international waters. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Dashing spy Jagger Holtz lived in a world of danger. Not even a sweet brown-eyed siren alone on New Year's Eve could be trusted, especially when he had to bring down her employer. Somehow Emily Grainger broke through his defenses--and set him up for two years of torturous captivity. Or so he thought. Emily hadn't expected a cryptic message to lead her to rescue the man who'd disappeared after their night of passion. Nor had she known that he'd been held prisoner all that time and believed that she was responsible. Despite the suspicion, they must work together to stop the threat against them...and protect their precious daughter. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

I love a good romantic suspense. This story had adventure, danger, a rekindled love, and a strong self supporting heroine. Spies, good guys, bad guys and espionage abound. It’s the females that make this story fly and precisely land on target.
Silhouette (now Harlequin) romance published 2009. I didn’t notice any technology deficiencies for the ten year age.
It is part of a loosely connected series from 2009 but I don’t recall reading any of the others and don’t feel that I missed anything.
The title Is a little misleading. The baby plays a part but is not the main issue.
I’ve read a couple of other books by this author. With this addition, the name is going to be one of my auto-buys. ( )
