I used this one as my bedside book and finished it over the course of about three nights. It's pretty interesting but certainly not in-depth. Just a little tease about some of the mysterious crimes, events, disapperances, and scientific puzzles of the 20th century. I'm sure there has been more information gleaned about some of these topics since the turn of the century, but I found this to be an enjoyable read with information about quite a few events I'd never heard of. ( ) Not great. For those stories I knew nothing about, it was good to read, and I had to rely on their info, but on those stories I consider myself knowledgable on were frustrating as there was no substance. The whole booked was presented asking more questions than providing possible answers - if you publish a book about controversial subject matter, I think that book shoul dput it's own view point forward and claim it thinks it knows what the answer is - it should spark thought and debate, not leave the reader none the wiser on his or her own conclusion. Poorly presented, and even photo captions were not entirely definitive. This is an interesting book about true mysteries from the 20th century. There were a few that weren't quite as interesting for me, but I actually enjoyed almost every story in it. There are also a lot of interesting photos in it that will keep you busy looking for a while, even if you choose not to read the book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
