I didn't expect the ending to be the way it was at all. Good mystery. Leaves it open for a sequel of these two sisters. ( )

This book had a lot of twists and turn and I was surprised to find out who was behind the different evil events of the book. Jules was an easy to love character, however I felt like Lisa Jackson was a little repetitive. There were times during the beginning chapters that I thought I had put my bookmark in the wrong spot, when actually it was the main character rethinking the same thoughts over again in much the same wording. It is for this reason that I'm giving the book a 4 instead of a 5. The plot was well thought out and I enjoyed it's many unpredictable turns. ( )

Incorrigible troublemaker Shaylee Stillman finds herself, by court order, at Blue Rock Academy, an elite boarding school for troubled teens. Knowing that things are not as they should be at the school, her half-sister, Jules, finagles a teaching position at the Academy to keep an eye on her little sister. The characters in this creepy tale are well-defined, but naïve Jules lacks common sense, acts childishly, and paranoia rules her thinking . . . all of which are likely to frustrate readers. Telling the story from several different points of view helps pull the reader into the story; the plot twists and turns with several unexpected reveals helping to build suspense. Although there are some unexpected reveals, there’s also a lot of repetition that causes the story to languish instead of moving forward. While the tension builds as the story unfolds, some reveals are likely to stun readers; some may find the ending implausible. ( )

I am a new reader of Jackson's books. I enjoyed her style of writing and the story kept me reading into the night when I should have been sleeping. just when I thought I had it figured out, wham! when I got to the end I was delighted to learn that it's the first in a series. I will definitely pick up the next installment soon. ( )

There are a lot of mixed reviews about this book and can see both sides. Yes, the books was a little long, and yes, some of the secondary characters (assuming the author kept behind the scenes, on purpose- for the twist towards the end), as these became an integral part of the book and front and center. Yes, some annoying characteristics; however, all is all it was a thriller and I urge all readers to read Lisa Jackson’s new TELL ME – as it was excellent!

The book is centered at Blue Rock Academy for at risk teens where Shaylee is sent. Her (half-sister) comes to her rescue and goes undercover (their dad was murdered years before); however, book does not cover a lot of these details. Now there are killings and Jules tries to help her sister along with her ex-boyfriend Cooper Trent. They are working to get to the bottom of the brutal sick killings. However, the enemy is closer than they think……
