The Owl poems are mostly four lines with an A-B-C-B rhyme scheme, and the Pig poems are limericks. Good fun. ( ) I would use this book as an interactive read aloud for 2nd grade because some of the poems are longer with a lot of words so it would be more beneficial for me to read them to the students and it may still be too long fro younger students. I would use it as an interactive read aloud because the poems can all be read separate and there are some about owls and some about pigs so I would choose the ones I wanted to read. I had mixed feelings about this book after reading it. I liked the book because of the writing, language, and illustrations. The language and writing were easy to follow. The book contained rhyming words throughout which are great for younger children. The illustrations were wonderful and full of color, which enhanced the text. However, I did not like this book because there was not any main idea or moral of the story. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
