This one was pretty adorable. After reading 4 of these Nerds books by Vicki Lewis Thompson, it's clear to me that Ms. Thompson likes her men to have thick, tousled/messy brunette hair, that all nerds have problems with their vision (and that corrective lenses, be they glasses or contacts, are a key part of what makes them nerds), and that a good man gives his woman at least one orgasm (but usually 2 or 3) before fulfilling his own satisfaction.

That being said, I liked this one. :) So far #1, #2, #3 and #5 have been my favorites (yes, they're all my favorites... there are elements I love about each of them, and one or both of the lead characters is quirkly and cutedorable), and I only disliked #4. #7 is next on deck, and I've got to scrounge me up a copy of #6 I guess... ;) Here's hoping #4 was the only dud in the series. :D ( )

The sex scenes were great; I especially liked the aftermath of the first one in the kitchen.

I didn't think the suspense about who was stealing her invention was handled well -- I didn't believe that she wouldn't want to call the police and the ending, well, a little too pat and touchy-feely for me.

Other than that, it was a good, quick read. ( )

This story started out okay with a unique plot but pretty soon the events began to get silly and unbelievable plus the hero and heroine fought their attraction too much so I skimmed a lot. Engineer Charlie discovers model Eve's invention and helps her find the person trying to steal her idea.
