Awful Doris Wishman film that has little to offer but freak value in the form of Chesty Morgan and her infeasibly ponderous 73-inch breasts. The “story” by Judy J. Kushner sees Crystal (Chesty) talking the law into her own hands (and boobs) and taking revenge on the hitmen who killed her mobster boyfriend. Using her only available assets she dispatches her targets by crushing and asphyxiating them with her monstrous mammaries. That’s about it! In between the boob killings, Crystal undertakes a couple of lumbering stripteases routines and takes a long soak in the bath. There is something slightly worrying about Chesty as she teeters about blankly on her platform boots while sporting a platinum wig and bizarre, unfeasible frilly blouses. Her performance is awful but on par with everyone else in the film, with only hardcore legend Harry Reems putting in a turn approximating acceptability. Doris Wisman’s direction is virtually non-existent with the whole production exuding a cheap sleaziness. The only thing of worth in the whole mess is a repeated song called “Hard Selling Woman”; written and performed by Mike Lease - it's a cool, little hard-driving groover. “Deadly Weapons” is a bad film on every conceivable level but still worth seeing for its tawdry shock value.
