OK, I'm a sucker for crochet lace patterns. This does not, of course, mean that there is any chance of my ever crocheting a tablecloth or bedspread. (Even twenty years ago most of this was very old fashioned.) The peacock cloth on the cover is just possible, or maybe one of the edgings.

Big down side to this book: There are diagrams for the filet crochet, but not for the other patterns, and I find diagrams a lot easier to read. Of course, those peacocks are filet. ( )
