I like the books Mercedes lackey writes, she is good at creating a believable world and people to populate it. This series starts off very strong though I do feel that it falls off a bit as it progresses. It is truly readable and enjoyable. ( )

I really enjoyed this, but was abruptly reminded of why I don't read Lackey anymore.

A timely reminder... ( )

While, in my opinion, this is not as good as the first book in the series, I nevertheless did enjoy this continuation of Joust, the story of Vetch and his dragon. I plan to find and read the next book, Sanctuary. ( )
