Regina did find her mother alive (of sorts) and many changes have happened to both of them since they parted in England. Now mother and daughter are in Vienna home of the Warlocks, the Tremere stronghold. They are now circulating among the TRUELY powerful. Are any of them going to survive these encounters?
Boulle wrote this in a Victorian style, it is very reminiscent of Dracula (which is fitting) though it is much less "flowery" and easier to read. Over all not a bad book. (
