So I don't see that there's SO much going on in these five pages--they're notes out of that bastard chimaera The Will to Power, and most of the obscure ideas here were equally obscurely but more vividly presented elsewhere--but it's a good collection of Nietzschean koans that come together into a relatively clear argument: Christian morality was a "slave morality", and as it collapses, the people who relied on it most are going to be the ones who see its death as the death of morality en bloc. The worst will lack all conviction, in other words, and that is a chance for the best to be filled with passionate intensity. I'm a little unclear on how the infinite recursion comes in, except as a means of sorting yourself according to that "best" or "worst"--if your life were going to repeat and repeat again and again forever, would you be filled with despair or joy?
