Pico Bogue seems inspired by Calvin (of "and Hobbes") or Dennis the Menace, but is not nearly as clever, mischievous, or humorous as either of those two. A family comic strip that focuses mostly on the title character, his sister and their parents, each page of the book has either one or two stand-alone gags. Until the very last page, none were particularly funny or worthwhile.

I picked this at random out of Hoopla's free Bonus Borrows section for a quick read, but I will definitely not be using any of my monthly credits to look at any other volumes in this series. ( )
