I guess if you were ever curious about the discovery of nuclear power and the invention of atom bomb, this is a pretty good little read. While it was published in the 70s, it still lays the groundwork leading up to the scientific journey of splitting atoms. Truly interesting. Short and sweet and to the point. ( ) Excellent, clear, well-constructed. You can tell that nuclear power is modern. Many of the illustrations in this book are portraits of contributors to the field. Each and every one, except Marie Curie, is wearing a tie. The book is very optimistic about the possibility of nuclear fusion power, as yet unachieved. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
