He wants to make it his home but needs to shop for items to do that. He goes out into a regular size world looking for an itty bitty store and when he finds it, he finds items that would be perfect for his home. He fills his bone with the new items and is now happy. This book was really cute. I think kids will find it funny. This book has simple rhymes that kids should be able to predict with you which would be fun during group reading time. ( ) Itty Bitty is an itty bitty dog who finds an ENORMOUS bone to make his home, and goes about fixing the place up. Wonderfully textured illustrations that vary between nature-themed and the bright colors of the city and a gentle long-rhyme and whimsy of the story make this book a wonderful reward for new readers! Kids with a year or more of reading under their belts read can practice words like "hollow" and "either", while still relying on the comfort of shorter, familiar words like "bone", "home", and "side". Great for helping kids who've just moved to a new place connect with a character in the same boat--er, bone, as it were. Also great to read as a story time book in class or at a library, or as an introduction to shape and color patterns in an art class. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
