Still a go-to reference for most surface stitches and still one of best print versions out there; however, my first copy pre-dated internet access. For cutwork, hardanger, knots, and stumpwork stitches/embellishments in particular I also like searching for "animated stitches" or "stitch video" on the internet. Particularly for knot stitches, seeing the demonstrations very helpful. Hint, hint ... maybe Kooler Studios could come out with an enhanced or "vook" electronic version with some video links? ( )

A terrific reference for all kinds of needlework, especially cross stitch and needlepoint. A wonderful book to browse for enjoyment and put to use in your crafting. ( )
