Max stands up for want he believes and refuses to color the flower coloring page his teacher handed to him. He knows his mom would rather have a unique picture created by himself. He shows of his creation and inspires the rest of his class to be creative too. This book is about a boy who doesn’t want to color a copied flower picture like everyone else for their Mother’s Day present. Instead, he turns the paper over and makes his own flower picture for his mom. His classmates saw his drawing and they too agreed their moms would also prefer an original picture they drew themselves.
Martha Alexander (1920-2006) left notes and sketches for this story about the possibilities of “a blank sheet of paper,” and James Rumford ably completed it.
Despite his teacher's entreaties that it would be perfect for Mother's Day, Max refuses to color in the same flower picture as the rest of the class. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
