I appreciated the message here that family and adults need to listen to what the kid is really wanting. Also a great book to read before discussing how to pick out gifts for family and friends! Really fun illustrations as well. ( ) age: 4 Summary: Danny wanted to have a turtle as his pet on his birthday. However, her family disagreed and recommended other animals, such as dog or cat. Finally, he can persuade his family and can have his turtle. *Children can weigh evidence and make appropriate choices. Furthermore, they can learn about setting tasks for themselves and completing tasks they begin. Source: Pierce library I enjoyed this book. It has a great flow to it and lots of rhyme. The words on one page rhyme with the pet that is bought. This is a great first grade book because they need lots of work with rhyming words. I think that it is a good book for descriptive words. It would also be a great book for a writing lesson because after reading it students could write about their idea of a perfect pet. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
