This book offered very short chapters so we used it on soccer nights (when we get home past normal bedtime). The story was engaging enough - cute read. ( ) Flat Stanley goes to Egypt after a letter came to him, saying that it was urgent. He soon finds out the people that send for him are grave robbers! What will Stanley do? I have never read a Flat Stanley book but this one was a great historical story. You could tell this book was made for younger kids maybe 4 and up. Don’t let that stop you from reading the Flat Stanley books. Stanley sounds really nice and gets embarrassed when people say the great things he’s done. I loved all the characters, the author did a great job making the Egyptian characters realistic with their customs and looks. If you read the older series of Flat Stanley, you have to read Flat Stanley’s Worldwide Adventures! *Book provided by HarperCollins Children’s Firstlook Program sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
