The McInnes Triplets #3
Three sisters, triplets, dressed alike as children, pitted against one another by their father, finally returning to the family house to go through it after their father dies and hoping to become closer while dealing with the ghosts they never left behind. Their stories will unfold one by one in Spruce Lake where they once were not the happiest girls in the world but where love just might find each one of them.
Fiona is the last triplet to find her HEA in a second chance at love romance with her high school sweetheart. I wondered about this couple when hints were made in the first books of the series and wanted to know what had happened in their backstory. All three of the sisters had daddy-issues but with a father like theirs it would be amazing not to!
Fiona had the childhood dream of becoming a jewelry designer and making it big. Her mother supported her but died too soon. Her need to succeed superseded her love for Jackson Grant, or so he thought. They were both heartbroken after they parted but moved on with their lives although they still cared for one another. When they meet again after over a decade Grant is divorced with two children and a veterinarian while Fiona has made a name for herself making jewelry - they have achieved their dreams but are not fulfilled. The story has ups and downs that deal with the past, the twins, Bree’s son Charlie, a natural disaster and a bit of a disaster or two between the couple. Jackson is tough but eventually the two manage to get their HEA.
Thank you to the author for the ARC – this is my honest review.
