When 14 year old Ally sees her best friend Tracy supposedly being pushed off a bridge to her death, life will never be the same for her. Because the accused is wealthy and pretty much owns the town, Ally's story will not be believed and the killer will go free. This will force her family to have to move out of the town and Ally to never return or so she believes.

Now it is many years later and Ally is a single Mom who has a daughter of her own (who is deaf). She will meet a new man, Mark Bishop, who is a new employee at her job and they will seem to hit it off. But suddenly Ally must face her past, return to the town where is all began and face the killer, who is now a respected businessman.

I must say that there was suspense, but I wasn't expecting how it ended at all. I like surprises and this one surprised me a little. The author does a good job of keeping you guessing and wondering about what really happened many years ago. A quick read, but a good "Love Inspired Suspense, Riveting Inspirational Romance". ( )
