fun ( )

I've enjoyed the Highlander series and this is another enjoyable outing in Maine. Luke helps Camry figure out her life really isn't the mess she thought it was along with some canine help from Tigger and Max. Relatives Fiona and Roger also lend their magical hands in bringing these two together. Hopefully more from this author in this series. ( )

'A Highlander Christmas' was actually a very endearing magic-filled romance. I enjoyed reading this book, I loved the main characters and I loved how they are both geeks, hard core geeks, its not often you see that in a romance. This book contains a bit of magic, love, lust, science, and even a "sort of" fairy godmother, ok well she's a real mother, but sometimes they are one and the same. I liked the addition of love between other characters as well, usually it is just the main characters, but in this book you see the love the parents have for each other and their children, I quite enjoyed that. I also found out this book is actually number seven in a series, I hadn't read any of the other books and wasn't lots at all...pretty good deal. Oh and the single one thing I love most is that this family celebrates the solstice...I NEVER see that in a book, and since it's my holiday too...I was very pleased to see this holiday for once count for a holiday. ( )

Janet Chapman has done it once again, weaving a tale of magic and family, miracles and love. Full of wit, not to mention romance and passion, A Highlander Christmas will pull you right back into the crazy but lovely world of Pine Creek, and their infamous family, the MacKeages.

I loved the chemistry between Camry and Luke, it was sweet yet very steamy, playful yet very serious and touching. And not only did we get to watch these two fall in love, but we also saw glimpses of some of our favorite past couples--I love seeing how, even after all these years, Grey and Grace are still just as wild about each other!

If you haven't tried any of Chapman's books yet, what are you waiting for? I promise you, you will love them! :) ( )

This book is definitely not as good as the rest of the Highlander series. I guess she's running out of magic. ( )
