I liked this book. The writing was tight and there was much more showing than telling. There were several very amusing parts and the tone of the book stayed consistant throughout without being in any way farcical. The characters were well drawn and believable as were the interesting minor characters.

The plot made sense and I liked that the story resolved around a smaller crime than terrorists or serial killers. The plot was also one where I didn't guess all of the answers from the beginning. The author was able to keep several questions unanswered until the end.

I loved how the hero, Jake, would do something and then tell himself that the sons of Baptist preachers do those sorts of things. He made some mistakes and he did some very nice grovelling at the end to get the heroine back.

I will definitely be reading more of this author. ( )

I loved this book. It was a quirky, mystery suspense with a lot of romance thrown into the mix. The characters were very realistic and I found myself rooting for them, even the so called no good brother. :-) ( )

Lisht-hearted, humorous romance. Macy Tucker’s family is, of course, dysfunctional, her Mom has spent 14 years crying since abandoned by her husband, her Grandmother is a super-active senior who teaches yoga, Macy is divorced from a cheating husband and her brother is in prison for robbing a convenience store (no less in her car). Billy has asked Macy to visit him in prison because he needs to tell her a really bad prisoner is mad and him and is threatening to rape and kill Macy in revenge.

You would think this is bad enough but then a prison break and brother Billy is one of the escapees. Macy is under investigation as the “bad dude prisoner “Tank” also escaped so she is a target.

Too much ‘mattress mambo’ that just wasn’t necessary, the story could hold its own without the gratuitous sex. Oh well, it seems to be a requirement in romance stories now. Still a fast paced read that was enjoyable. ( )

This is a well written book that I totally enjoyed. I have read other books by this author and will continue to do so.

Macy Tucker was five years old when her beloved grandfather dropped dead in his spaghetti. At twelve, her father left his family in the dust. At twenty-five, her husband gave his secretary a pre-Christmas bonus in bed, and Macy gave him the boot. To put things lightly, men have been undependable.

That's why dating's off the menu. Macy is focused on putting herself through law school -- which means being the delivery girl for Papa's Pizza. But cheesier than her job is her pie-eyed brother, who's just recently escaped from prison to protect his new girlfriend. And hotter than Texas toast is the investigating detective. Proud, sexy...inflexible, he's a a man who would kiss her just to shut her up. But Jake Baldwin's a protector as much as a dish. And when he gets his man -- or his woman-- Macy knows it's for life. Review:

"Gotcha!" by Christie Craig was a sweet contemporary romance with some humor, drama, mystery and suspenseful read. This was definitely one of those reads that once you started you will not want to put it down until the end. I found the read a fast paced read with a lot of characters that were simply off the chart well developed in helping produce a well written story. I loved how this author was able to give us a script with so much going on, however, it was all covered very well in this long read. The hero and the heroine were really .... well this is where I say you must pick up "Gotcha" and we will see if the guy can get the girl alone with the other crimes that were going on in the read.

If you are looking for a read with some romance, suspense and humor, you have come to the right place for "Gotcha" will give it all to you in this amazing good read that I would recommend. ( )
