It's April Fool's Day and Wagner seems to have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed. Every joke that someone plays on him leaves him feeling frustrated. Finally, he finds a way to lighten up and have some fun. ( )

This Pearl and Wagner book shows what happens to the pair on April Fools'. Wagner truly gets the short end of the stick, being passed up as a dance partner and even drinking real bug juice, but he has the last laugh in the end. I appreciate the characters in these books, because they remind me of real kids and their shenanigans. ( )

This book covers Wagner's experience with April Fools day. Everyone seems to have fun but he doesn't. At the end though he decides to pull of a prank to get everyone in his class.

Poor Wagner! What a cute story about two friends but Wagner becomes the butt end of some trickery. I like series books if they are good enough. This is not my favorite but it is still pretty silly. I think the illustrations are pretty good and the animals are fun. I like how the different characters are very random animals like rodents. ( )
