An imaginative introduction to the alphabet for pre-readers, Ford mixes animals and items from all over the world to complete this interesting alphabet book. Each spread includes several words with their alphabet letter well highlighted and a sentence on the opposite page describing how the items and animals are interacting. Bold, high-contrast illustrations are aimed at the typical board book audience of two to three year old children, however, the text seems more appropriate for four to five year old children. Recommended for advanced two to three year old children. Ages 3-5. (
