Okay, this book was awesome! Cowboy Roy, who has never met a horse before, talks to a series of increasingly exotic animals in his search to find one (including a sloth!) - and the results get sillier and sillier as the story goes on. The ending is great, too. Had me laughing out loud. This would be an AWESOME book for a storytime or for reading one-on-one. ( )

This is one of my favorite read alouds. The surprise on the last page never fails to make me laugh. ( )
