Genre: Realistic Fiction because the characters are all realistic, the story is realistic. Though the characters think one man is a snowman (which wouldn't be realistic), they use problem solving skills to realize he is not. Because this is not a true story, it is fiction. ( ) This is a great example of a modern fantasy because we know snow monsters don't actually exist. The kids think they meet a snow monster named Harry, but they try to see if he is really a snow monster by giving him hot chocolate. He drank the hot chocolate and began to thaw out, but we really don't know if he was a monster or not. The plot contains rising action throughout most of the book, and it isn't until the end that the climax is reached. The story is left without a definite ending, so the reader has to use their imagination to finish the story. Media: Ink sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
