This is a collection of funny children's poems and drawings on subjects from brains to babies. This poetry book often uses creative ways of writing to intrigue the reader and challenge the concept of normal writing. This book is very much like a Shel Silverstein book but not exactly up to the level. But what I like about this book is that it is creative and it's fun. I think this book would be great to help kids who may not be too into reading. It's a great tool to introduce poetry too. Many children think poetry has to be boring and long and this book says otherwise. I would definitely use this in my classroom as a model for writing our own poetry! I have to say that Silverstein will never be replaced but it's amazing that there are even more poetry books like this for children to enjoy. I would have loved this book as a kid. My favorite poem was Good Conduct. Very relatable and great introduction to poetry. I want to find more of these kinds of books. Poetry does't have to be boring! It can be fun! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
