This book took you through most states and what they are known for. Through the beautiful and vibrant illustrations, you are able to follow along on each adventure. ( ) This book uses a creative way to talk about different U.S states. A young girl wants to make cherry pie but her local grocery store is closed. So she goes on a quest across the country stopping at different states for the ingredients. This book includes resources that can be found in those certain states. The also includes a recipe for cherry pie that would be fun to do with the students. This book has an apple pie recipe at the beginning and sets you in the setting of needing to make the pie from scratch. Like needing to make the stove, etc. The girl and her dog take you on a journey across the USA trying to get all the ingridiants for doing this. There are maps that show where the stuff has been found and where the journey bagan to where it ended. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
