This summer, my husband and I embarked upon "geocaching." It's essentially a high-tech treasure hunt. You navigate using GPS to the coordinates of a hidden "cache." Sometimes you have to solve a puzzle to determine the cache's location.

It's a lot of fun -- adventurous, even -- and when we downloaded the app and created our online profiles, we instantly became part of a global community.

Being fairly new, we decided to invest in a book that thoroughly explains geocaching. From reading this book, we've picked up valuable advice and insights. I have no doubt this book will enable us to be better members of the geocaching community.

I first purchased this when I began geocaching a couple years ago, but just getting around to reading it. This ia great book for beginners just starting the hobby,, but if you have been caching awhile, you may find that you have already learned what is in this book through trial and error. ( )

Learned some pretty interesting things about geocaching in this book, but there's nothing like getting out there and looking for caches. Good exercise, too. ( )
