This is not an easy, nor a feel good read, but I can personally vouch for the seminary ethos as presented in this book having gone through a discernment process myself thankfully not as a bad as those scenarios presented in this book, but still in line with the general thrust. All I will say is that the vocations director, about a year later, was criminally charged for monetary issues of which I was not surprised given the chasm we had on church issues during a one-on-one discussion during discernment. The real problem - as talked about in this book - is that priests and bishops formed during this period are now in positions of power and now act as gatekeepers. If you want to know why the Church is where it is today - Bishops against Bishops etc - then this book will help provide more insight, but it is very explicit in some of the dreadful situations that took place in the 70s and 80s in priestly formation. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

In the New York Times bestseller Goodbye, Good Men, investigative reporter Michael S. Rose provides the shocking answer that the mainstream news media have missed.
He uncovers how radical liberalism, like that found on many college campuses, has infiltrated the Catholic Church and tried to overthrow traditional beliefs, standards, and disciplines—especially Church teachings on sexuality.
