Great book. This story is about a duck that is smaller than his peers. They continuously remind him saying "A duck so small can do nothing at all." The little ducks tries over and over to show the others he can do things, but fails, which is when they pick inhume. In the end of the story, a baby duck falls in a hole, and all the other ducks are too big to reach in and save the baby. The little duck was praised by everyone and they said "A duck so small can do something after all." This story is good to teach children ages 3-8 about differences and the idea that some people's strengths may be another's weakness. ( )

Aww.  Fairly typical story of a character who is a little different but who finds his own talent.  Enriched by the sneakily educational kingfisher, heron, and woodpecker, drawn carefully enough that if you can take your child to a wild pond you'd be able to identify them yourselves. ( )

Great book to show children the importance of treating people right.. In this book the duck pulled the little duckling out of the hole. Teaches kids to be helpful not to pick on some one for just being small.

It showed how everyong can be helpful, like how the duck pulled the little duckie out of the whole. Also, not to pick on someone just for being smaller or different because you never know how they might be helpful!
